The Party With Lance Podcast pushes onward, this time with our first guest! My pal comedian Colleen Genevievee and I spent a weekend together doing shows at The Church of Satire in Hanover, PA. It is a very cool club and we had a blast. This podcast format here is something I’ve wanted to do for quite some time. I’m trying something new I haven’t really ever done before. I did pretty much no editing on this piece except for some audio work to try and clean it up and make it a bit more enjoyable to listen to. Colleen informed me in the car that I breath horrifically, and listening to this, that’s all I can think about. I’m now self-conscious about it and will probably have to see a doctor about it at some point or something. Nobody is perfect! Colleen is a very funny comedian who has been at it for over 7 years. We have a strange dynamic when we hang out. She drives me absolutely insane, but I also love her to death and she makes me laugh. More than a couple of people have said that it’s like an old married couple. Colleen also talks about doing her first half hour sets in comedy, which is pretty cool in my book. I’m genuinely curious to hear people’s thoughts on this thing. Is it cool, is it boring, is it interesting, should I do more like this?
